Description:

Slip Safety Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team. We provide high-quality care to elderly residents in our residential home located in the heart of London. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being and independence of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with their daily routines, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mealtimes
• Provide personal care, including incontinence and catheter care
• Monitor residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes to the care team
• Engage with residents, providing companionship, social activities, and emotional support
• Assist with medications as directed by a Registered Nurse
• Respect residents' privacy, dignity, and autonomy
• Adhere to all care plans and protocols established by the care team
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including nurses, therapists, and other care staff

Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience
• Proven experience working with elderly residents
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and empathy skills
• Strong work ethic, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically able to assist residents with their mobility and personal care needs
