Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and highly motivated Full-Time Security Officer to join our team in Armadale. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the company's premises, personnel, and assets, ensuring a secure and orderly environment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol company property to prevent unauthorized entry or activity
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents
• Perform safety and security inspections of the premises and equipment
• Enforce company security policies and procedures
• Assist with access control systems and visitor management
• Maintain and document security logs and incident reports
• Maintain effective communications with law enforcement, emergency services, and company management
• Protect company assets, equipment, and information from damage, theft, or unauthorized access
• Provide directions and assistance to employees, visitors, and stakeholders
• Participate in security training programs and drills
• Assist in investigations and support security-related initiatives

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid security license or certification preferred but can be obtained with company's sponsorship program
• Minimum of two years of experience in a security role
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication, observation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong physical condition and ability to respond quickly in emergencies
• Knowledge of security equipment, surveillance systems, and security protocols
• Detail-oriented and able to work effectively under pressure
