Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of property and personnel
• Monitor surveillance systems and respond promptly to any alarms or suspicious activities
• Screen and admit visitors, verify credentials, and maintain accurate records
• Lock and secure premises and equipment after hours
• Enforce safety regulations and company policies
• Conduct emergency drills and provide assistance in the event of an emergency
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with visitors, customers, and employees
• Prepare incident reports and document security-related activities
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and technologies related to security

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Security Officer
• Excellent physical condition and the ability to work extended shifts, including nights and weekends
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills
• Proficient in written and verbal communication
• Knowledge of security systems and technology
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Possession of a valid security license is required
