Security Officer | Anstey, Leicester

Description:

EarnFlex Ltd. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team in Anstey, Leicester. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment within the designated premises.

Overview:

Ensure the safety and security of employees, visitors, and property
Monitor and control access to the premises
Deter and respond to security incidents
Maintain and inspect security equipment and systems
Patrol assigned areas and conduct regular surveillance
Report security breaches and incidents promptly

Responsibilities:

Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
Conduct foot patrols and vehicle inspections
Manage access control systems, including gate passes and key fobs
Respond to security breaches, such as unauthorized entry or vandalism
Investigate and document security incidents
Train and supervise less experienced security personnel
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
Comply with all company security policies and procedures

Qualifications:

SIA (Security Industry Authority) license (preferred)
At least 3 years of experience as a security officer
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and observation abilities
Physical fitness and ability to handle physical exertion
Sound knowledge of security best practices and emergency response procedures
Proficiency in operating security equipment and systems (CCTV, access control)
