Full time Security Officer in Applecross

Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to provide exceptional protection services at its Applecross facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding assets, deterring criminal activity, maintaining order, and providing a sense of safety to employees, clients, and the community.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarms, and access controls
• Patrol designated areas to detect and report any suspicious activities or hazards
• Enforce company security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, following established protocols
• Conduct background and security screenings on visitors and contractors
• Provide guidance and assistance to staff and visitors in areas related to safety and security
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders as necessary
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of security incidents and activities
• Stay abreast of security best practices and technologies
• Keep uniforms, equipment, and vehicles in pristine condition

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in security operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using security surveillance systems and equipment
• Physical fitness to perform strenuous activities
• Strong situational awareness, decision-making abilities, and attention to detail
• Current SIA license (or equivalent) is highly preferred
