Job Overview:

We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Security Officer to join our team and ensure the safety and security of our premises in Arundel. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring access control, conducting patrols, and responding to any security threats or incidents.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor all access points to the premises, including gates, entrances, and exits
• Conduct regular patrols within the site to prevent unauthorized entry or activities
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or security concerns
• Control the flow of visitors and contractors, verifying their credentials and escorting them if necessary
• Use communication systems effectively to alert on-duty supervisors or emergency services in case of incidents
• Maintain a comprehensive log of security-related activities, including incidents, patrols, and visitor entries
• Participate in safety drills and training exercises to ensure readiness to handle various emergencies
• Ensure compliance with all relevant security standards and procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in a security or law enforcement role highly desirable
• Proficient in surveillance techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong physical fitness and stamina
• Clean criminal record
• SIA license highly preferred
