Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Security Officer to join our team in Askwith, Otley. The successful candidate will play a vital role in safeguarding our premises and ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, visitors, and assets.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of the premises and surrounding area, ensuring the security and integrity of the site
Monitor surveillance equipment (e.g., CCTV cameras, access control systems) and respond to alarms or suspicious activity
Enforce security policies and procedures, including access control, parking restrictions, and visitor registration
Screen visitors and contractors, verifying their credentials and ensuring proper authorization
Conduct thorough incident investigations and prepare detailed reports
Maintain and inspect security systems, ensuring they are in proper working order
Assist with emergency situations, including evacuation and first aid
Collaborate with law enforcement and other security agencies as needed
Keep abreast of security trends and best practices

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent qualification
1+ years of experience in a security officer role
Knowledge of security procedures, policies, and regulations
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
Physical fitness and ability to perform physical tasks associated with security duties
Experience with surveillance equipment and security systems
First aid and CPR certification preferred
SIA (Security Industry Authority) license in the UK or equivalent required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
