Full Time Security Officer in Athlone

Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Security Officer to protect our business premises in Athlone, Co. Westmeath. The ideal candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of security protocols, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the premises, including pedestrian and vehicular traffic
• Conduct regular patrols of the property, both internally and externally, to identify and prevent security breaches
• Respond promptly to security alarms and investigate any suspicious activity
• Enforce company security policies and regulations
• Maintain and operate security equipment, such as CCTV cameras, door alarms, and access control systems
• Document all security incidents and prepare reports as required
• Provide customer service and assist visitors or employees with security-related matters
• Work closely with law enforcement and other emergency personnel as needed
• Stay up-to-date on security industry best practices and training

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Security Officer in a similar role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong observational and analytical abilities
• Physical fitness and alertness
• Basic computer literacy
• Valid Garda Vetting
• PSRA or SIA License (desirable)
• First Aid and CPR certification (desirable)
