Description

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a responsible and experienced Security Officer to join their team in Baildon, UK. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for safeguarding the company's property, assets, and personnel.

Responsibilities

Monitor security cameras and alarms to detect and respond to potential threats
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized access
Control access to the building and identify visitors
Operate security equipment and systems
Report any suspicious activity or incidents to management
Provide assistance to employees and visitors in case of emergencies
Maintain security records and logs
Assist with other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience in a security role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Working knowledge of security equipment and procedures
Knowledge of fire safety and first aid procedures
Valid UK security license (SIA) or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of employment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Experience with CCTV systems and access control systems
First aid certification

Additional Details

The position requires working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Shift work may be necessary
The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team
A clean driving record is preferred
Excellent references are essential
