Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol designated areas, ensuring the security and safety of clients, employees, and property
Control access to the premises, verifying credentials and escorting visitors as necessary
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activities
Conduct routine security checks of the premises, identifying potential hazards and security breaches
Assist with crowd control and traffic management during events or peak periods
Provide assistance to clients and employees as needed
Maintain detailed logs and incident reports of all security-related activities
Comply with all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements related to security
Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities
Stay up-to-date on security best practices and technologies

Qualifications

SIA-licensed Security Officer (Level 2 or above)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar security role
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Strong attention to detail, observation skills, and situational awareness
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical fitness and ability to handle demanding situations
Knowledge of CCTV systems, alarm systems, and security protocols
Clean criminal record (DBS check required)
