Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Security Officer to join our team in Basildon, UK. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide comprehensive security for our premises, staff, and assets.

Responsibilities

Patrol and monitor the site, both internally and externally, ensuring the safety and security of the property
Respond to security breaches, alarms, and emergencies promptly and effectively
Screen visitors, contractors, and employees, maintaining accurate records and enforcing access control measures
Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify potential vulnerabilities
Monitor security cameras and surveillance equipment to detect any suspicious activity
Prepare reports on security incidents, patrols, and any observations or investigations
Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency services, and other external partners as necessary
Maintain order and crowd control during events or special circumstances
Keep abreast of industry best practices, security technologies, and legal requirements

Qualifications

SIA License or equivalent security certification
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar security role
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Physical fitness and ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends
Clean driving license and access to own vehicle (preferred)
