Full time Security Officer in Beauly

Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join its team in Beauly. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV systems and conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect and deter suspicious activity
• Respond promptly to alarms and security incidents
• Lock and unlock doors, gates, and windows as necessary
• Maintain order and security within the premises
• Perform access control duties, including verifying identification and granting or denying entry
• Inspect vehicles and personnel for prohibited items
• Report security-related incidents and observations to supervisors
• Provide customer service and assist visitors and staff
• Stay abreast of security best practices and regulations
• Undergo and maintain up-to-date training and certifications

 

Qualifications

• SIA (Security Industry Authority) certification
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a security officer
• Excellent observation and surveillance skills
• Ability to think critically and make sound judgments
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficient in using CCTV systems
• Physically fit and capable of working extended hours
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

 

Additional Desirable Skills

• First Aid certification
• Experience in fire safety
• Knowledge of emergency procedures
• Basic knowledge of electronic access control systems
• Ability to speak and understand multiple languages

 

Work Environment

• On-site at a secure premises in Beauly
• Shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
