EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team and ensure the safety and security of our property in Beccles.

Overview

The Full-time Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and the public. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and observation skills, as well as a strong understanding of security procedures and protocols.

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol the premises to deter and detect unauthorized access, theft, or vandalism
Conduct regular building inspections and maintain security systems (e.g., CCTV, access control)
Respond promptly to security incidents, including emergencies and medical emergencies
Enforce safety and security regulations, such as visitor management and restricted area access
Conduct guest and vendor screening procedures
Provide customer service and assist visitors and employees as needed
Maintain and update security logs and records
Collaborate with other members of the security team and law enforcement agencies

Qualifications

SIA (Security Industry Authority) license or equivalent certification
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Security Officer in a similar environment
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and observation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong physical fitness and the ability to respond to physical confrontations
Detail-oriented and proficient in using security equipment
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
