EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Time Security Officer to join our team in Biggleswade, UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients, their property, and assets.

Overview

Reporting to the Security Manager, the Full Time Security Officer will:

Provide proactive and reactive security services in a high-profile, fast-paced environment
Monitor and control access to designated areas, including entrances, exits, and sensitive zones
Conduct patrols, inspections, and surveillance to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, such as unauthorized access, theft, and vandalism
Use surveillance equipment, such as CCTV cameras and access control systems, to detect and deter suspicious activities
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all security-related incidents and activities
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with clients, staff, and visitors
Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Responsibilities

Enforce security policies and procedures
Monitor entry and exit points to prevent unauthorized access
Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter criminal activity
Respond to alarms and other security incidents
Perform security inspections of vehicles, packages, and persons
Report suspicious activities or individuals to appropriate authorities
Maintain security systems, including access control systems and CCTV cameras
Keep accurate logs of security incidents and activities
Collaborate with law enforcement and other emergency personnel

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent qualification
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Security Officer in a similar setting
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
Strong physical presence and attention to detail
Knowledge of security best practices and procedures
Familiarity with surveillance equipment and access control systems
Experience in incident reporting and response
First Aid and CPR certification is preferred
