Full Time Security Officer in Bristol

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the security and well-being of our premises and employees. This is an on-site position based at our office located at BS1 6WS in Bristol, UK, and is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary package.

 

Overview:

The Full-Time Security Officer is responsible for protecting the company, employees, property, and equipment. The primary goal of this role is to ensure a safe and secure work environment for all personnel and visitors. The successful candidate will be required to maintain a high level of vigilance, enforce security protocols, and respond promptly to any security concerns or emergencies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct access checks for visitors and employees, including ID verification
• Patrolling the premises to detect and deter unauthorized entry
• Monitoring security cameras and responding appropriately
• Responding to alarms, emergencies and security breaches promptly and efficiently
• Enforce company security protocols and procedures
• Maintain and update security equipment
• Provide assistance to employees and guests
• Report security incidents and suspicious activities to management
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders

 

Qualifications:

• High school Diploma or equivalent
• Previous security guard experience
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making, situational assessment and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work effectively as a part of a security team
• Proficiency with security systems, surveillance equipment and communication devices
• Physical Fitness
• Clean criminal background check
• Ability to work independently, follow directions and maintain confidentiality
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong work ethics and attention-to-detail
• Ability to stay alert and focused in a variety of situations, especially under pressure
• Basic knowledge of first aid procedures
• Valid driving license (preferential)
