Bury Security Officer Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Security Officer to join our team in Bury. As a Security Officer, you will be in charge of the safety and security of our facilities, employees, and visitors.

Security Officer Key Responsibilities in Bury:

Conduct regular patrols to dissuade and identify unauthorized activity on the premises.
Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to promptly respond to security threats.
Respond to emergencies such medical events, fire alarms, and security breaches.
Enforce security processes and company policies to ensure compliance and safety.
Respond to visitor and staff inquiries and concerns.
Create complete incident reports and keep accurate records of security-related actions.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services to address security incidents as needed.
Participate in training programmer to improve your security skills and remain current on industry best practices.

Security Officer Job Requirements in Bury:

Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or related disciplines is preferable, but not necessary.
Possession of a current security licence or the capacity to obtain one.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and great problem-solving skills.
Flexibility in working varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical stamina and the ability to stand or walk for long periods of time.
Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response methods is beneficial.
Valid SIA licence, proof of right to work in the UK, proof of address, and 5 years of work experience.
