Full Time Security Officer in Cardiff

Overview:

EarnFlex Ltd. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Full Time Security Officer to ensure the safety and well-being of its staff, assets, and premises located in Cardiff. Reporting to the Security Manager, the ideal candidate will proactively protect the organization by patrolling, monitoring, and responding to incidents.

 

Responsibilities:

• Patrol all designated areas, both interior and exterior, to deter crime and ensure safety
• Monitor security surveillance cameras and other systems to identify suspicious activities or breaches
• Conduct thorough searches upon entry and/or exit of visitors or employees
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious incidents
• Assist in enforcing company security policies and procedures
• Observe, document, and report any safety hazards, accidents, or suspicious events
• Collaborate with external authorities, such as law enforcement, in case of incidents
• Create and maintain detailed security logs and reports
• Stay informed of relevant security laws and best practices

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a security officer in a similar environment
• Excellent physical fitness and alertness
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in security surveillance systems (CCTV, access control, etc.)
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR preferred
• Valid driver's license
• SIA license or ability to obtain one within the probation period
