Full time Security Officer in Cavan

Overview:

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to safeguard its premises and assets in Cavan, Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the company's property, personnel, and visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both inside and outside, to deter and detect suspicious activity
• Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying the identities of visitors and contractors
• Respond promptly to security breaches, emergencies, and incidents
• Enforce company security policies and procedures, including access control, parking, and fire safety
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious behavior or activities
• Conduct emergency drills and training exercises to ensure the preparedness of staff and visitors
• Maintain surveillance equipment and security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control devices
• Prepare and maintain security reports, logs, and incident documentation
• Collaborate with law enforcement and other security agencies as required
• Provide customer service and assist visitors with inquiries or concerns

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Security Officer for a minimum of 3 years
• Strong knowledge of security principles, procedures, and best practices
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in the use of security equipment and technology
• Valid Security Guard License or equivalent certification
• Physical fitness and ability to patrol for extended periods
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
