EarnFlex Seeks Full-Time Security Officer in Cheveley

Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Security Officer to join our team in Cheveley, Newmarket CB8. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining security and safeguarding our premises, as well as ensuring the well-being of our staff and visitors.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to company buildings and facilities
Conduct security checks, including identity verification and bag searches
Patrol designated areas to deter and detect suspicious activity
Respond to security incidents, such as alarms or emergencies
Assist with crowd control during special events
Conduct fire safety checks and enforce fire prevention measures
Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed
Maintain security equipment, such as cameras and access control systems
Prepare and submit security reports
Stay abreast of security protocols and best practices

Qualifications

SIA (Security Industry Authority) License (or willingness to obtain)
Proven experience as a Full-Time Security Officer (minimum of 2 years)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Physical fitness and ability to withstand prolonged periods of standing or walking
Good attention to detail and observation skills
Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures
Basic computer literacy

Additional Skills and Experience

Experience in the use of CCTV and access control systems
Background in law enforcement or military service
First responder certification
Conflict resolution training
