Full-Time Security Officer Wanted in Colchester

Job Overview:

EarnFlex Limited seeks a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team in Colchester, CO3 3LG. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our premises and personnel, ensuring the safety and security of our employees and assets.

Responsibilities:

Monitor security cameras and conduct regular patrols of the premises
Respond to emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, and suspicious activity
Enforce company security policies and procedures
Grant and deny access to authorized personnel and visitors
Maintain a detailed log of all security-related incidents
Report any suspicious activity or potential threats to management
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed
Conduct security checks on visitors and contractors
Operate security equipment, such as CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarms
Assist with crowd control and emergency evacuations

Qualifications:

Strong physical fitness and ability to work in all weather conditions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in using security equipment and technology
Proven experience in the security industry
SIA-approved training and certification (or willingness to obtain)
First Aid and CPR certification
Excellent attention to detail and observational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile
