Full time Security Officer in Darlington

Job Overview:

EarnFlex Ltd. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to ensure the protection and safety of our Darlington site. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment and responding to security incidents while ensuring the well-being of our staff and visitors.

 

Responsibilities:

• Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems to detect suspicious activities and breaches
• Conduct routine patrols of designated areas to ensure compliance with security regulations
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies
• Enforce access control procedures and maintain visitor logs
• Control and monitor pedestrian and vehicular traffic
• Document and report security-related incidents in a timely and accurate manner
• Work closely with law enforcement and other emergency services as required
• Provide customer service to visitors and staff, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols
• Maintain a high level of physical fitness and be prepared to respond to demanding situations

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two or more years of experience in a security officer role
• Strong understanding of security protocols and procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical strength and agility
• Excellent situational awareness and problem-solving skills
• Valid SIA license or certification is highly desirable
• First aid certification is preferred
