Description:

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full Time Security Officer to join their team in Depden, Bury Saint Edmunds. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safety and security of the company's premises and personnel.

Overview:

Reporting to the Security Manager
Working closely with other security staff and law enforcement
Maintaining a visible and deterrent presence on-site
Monitoring surveillance systems and conducting regular patrols
Responding promptly to security incidents and emergencies

Responsibilities:

Guarding and patrolling the company's premises, including buildings, parking lots, and surrounding areas
Enforcing security protocols and procedures
Identifying and responding to potential security threats
Conducting security checks at checkpoints and access points
Monitoring and controlling access to restricted areas
Investigating security incidents and reporting findings
Maintaining security equipment and systems
Providing customer service and assisting visitors
Staying up-to-date on security best practices and trends

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Security Officer with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role
Strong knowledge of security principles and procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical fitness and ability to patrol for extended periods
Current SIA license or equivalent qualification
Valid driving license
First Aid certification desirable
