Responsibilities

Monitor and secure premises, assets, and personnel
Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas and respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies
Enforce company security policies and procedures
Control access to restricted areas and monitor visitors
Conduct security screenings and searches as necessary
Report security concerns or suspicious activities to supervisors
Liaise with law enforcement and other emergency responders as needed
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security equipment and technologies
Complete regular security reports and maintain accurate records

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a security officer in a similar environment
Strong understanding of security principles and best practices
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical fitness and ability to work in various conditions, including extreme temperatures
Proficient in using security equipment and technologies
