Full Time Security Officer in Dunston

Overview:

EarnFlex Ltd. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Full Time Security Officer for our Dunston site. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding the premises, assets, and personnel on a 24/7 basis, ensuring the well-being and protection of all individuals and property.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras and access control points
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both inside and out
• Enforce company security policies and procedures, including access control and key management
• Respond to security incidents and emergencies, such as trespassing, vandalism, and medical emergencies
• Maintain a safe and secure environment by proactively identifying and addressing potential security risks
• Perform identity checks and grant access to authorized individuals
• Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed
• Prepare and submit security reports and incident logs
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with staff, visitors, and the general public

Qualifications:

• SIA (Security Industry Authority) License or equivalent
• Previous experience in a security role, preferably within a corporate environment
• Strong knowledge of security systems and technology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical fitness and ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and remain calm in emergency situations
• Clean driving license (essential)
• Basic first aid training desirable
