Full-Time Security Officer Opportunity in Duxford, Cambridge

Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Security Officer to join our team in Duxford. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our premises and personnel, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to premises, including checking identification and issuing visitor passes
Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both internally and externally, to detect any suspicious activity or security breaches
Respond promptly to security alerts, emergencies, and incidents, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks
Secure all entrances and exits to the premises and ensure that all doors and gates are locked at designated times
Keep accurate records of security incidents, patrols, and other relevant activities
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, fostering positive relationships with staff, visitors, and contractors
Assist with crowd control and traffic management as required
Carry out other security-related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

Security Industry Authority (SIA) license or equivalent
Proven experience as a security officer in a similar environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness
Physically fit and capable of performing security patrols and responding to incidents
Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of security and customer service
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
