Security Officer Opportunity in Duxford, Cambridge

Description Overview:

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team in Duxford, Cambridge. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in safeguarding our premises and ensuring the safety and well-being of our staff and visitors.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and patrol designated areas, both internally and externally, to detect and deter potential security threats
Conduct thorough security checks and inspections of facilities, equipment, and personnel
Respond promptly to security incidents, investigate anomalies, and document findings
Control access to authorized areas and screen visitors for prohibited items
Monitor and maintain surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras and access control panels
Provide assistance to employees and visitors during emergencies or evacuation procedures
Enforce company policies and procedures related to security and safety
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary
Maintain accurate and detailed security reports and documentation

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification
Proven experience as a Full-time Security Officer in a similar environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Physical fitness and agility required for extended periods of patrolling and responding to incidents
Basic knowledge of security systems and equipment
Clean driving record preferred
