Description:

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Security Officer to join our team in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our premises and ensuring the safety and security of our employees, visitors, and assets.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and secure building entrances and exits using a variety of security measures, including CCTV, access control systems, and physical barriers
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both internally and externally, to deter and apprehend unauthorized individuals
• Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies, including evacuations, fires, and suspicious activities
• Provide assistance to employees and visitors, including escorting, providing directions, and resolving security-related issues
• Maintain order and prevent disturbances within the premises
• Report all security incidents and concerns to management
• Work closely with local law enforcement and emergency services as required
• Stay abreast of security best practices and relevant legislation

Qualifications:

• SIA Close Protection or Door Supervisor License
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Security Officer in a similar environment
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Strong observation and situational awareness abilities
• Physical fitness and ability to handle stress
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of security systems and technology
• Punctual, reliable, and professional
