Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter unauthorized entry and suspicious activity
• Screen visitors and control access to the facility
• Conduct background checks and maintain accurate records of visitors and employees
• Respond promptly to emergencies, including fires, medical incidents, and security breaches
• Use security equipment and communication systems effectively
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Adhere to all established security protocols and procedures
• Provide excellent customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors
• Report any incidents or potential threats to management immediately

Qualifications

• SIA Security Guarding License
• Proven experience as a Security Officer in a similar environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness and ability to perform physically demanding tasks
• Proficient in using security equipment and communication systems
• Knowledge of relevant security regulations and best practices
