Full time Security Officer in Gortnahey

Overview:

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team in Gortnahey, Londonderry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of security principles and best practices, and will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of employees, visitors, and property.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas, including buildings, grounds, and parking lots
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activities
• Conduct thorough background, reference, and ID checks
• Enforce company security policies and procedures
• Issue citations or take appropriate action against individuals in violation
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of security activities
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and crowd control
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed
• Stay informed of current security trends and technologies

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Security Officer in a similar setting
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
• Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for long periods
• Proficiency in security equipment, including CCTV cameras and access control systems
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to security operations
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification
• Clean driving record
• SIA license (Security Industry Authority) preferred
