Overview:

The Full-Time Security Officer will be responsible for a range of security-related duties within a commercial setting. This role requires an individual who is alert, observant, and has excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect unauthorized access
• Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras and access control points
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies
• Enforce property regulations and maintain order
• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and employees
• Prepare incident reports and provide documentation as required
• Assist law enforcement and emergency services as necessary

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) license
• 2+ years of experience in a similar security role
• Strong knowledge of security protocols and best practices
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to use security equipment and technology
• Physical fitness and ability to patrol for extended periods
