Full Time Security Officer in Hawick

Job Overview:

EarnFlex Ltd. seeks a highly motivated and dedicated Full Time Security Officer to join our team at our Hawick facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises and personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols and surveillance of the facility, both inside and outside
• Monitor surveillance cameras and respond to any suspicious activity
• Enforce company access control policies and procedures
• Inspect and secure doors, windows, and other entry points
• Maintain and operate security equipment, including CCTV systems and alarm systems
• Conduct investigations into security incidents and report findings
• Provide customer service and support to visitors and employees
• Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality

Qualifications:

• Possess a relevant security qualification, such as a SIA license or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Security Officer in a similar setting
• Strong understanding of security principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to perform duties that require standing or walking for extended periods
• Proficient in using security equipment and systems
