Full Time Security Officer in Hawick

Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. seeks a highly motivated and vigilant Full Time Security Officer to join our team in Hawick. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets at our on-site location.

Responsibilities

• Monitor surveillance cameras, access control systems, and other security equipment
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, both interior and exterior, to deter unauthorized entry or activity
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies
• Control access to the facility, checking identification and verifying authorization
• Enforce security policies and procedures
• Report any suspicious activity or security breaches to supervisors
• Assist in the investigation of incidents and emergencies
• Maintain accurate records of all security-related events and activities

Qualifications

• SIA Security Industry Authority License (Level 2 or above) or equivalent
• Proven experience in a security officer role within a similar environment
• Excellent observation, communication, and reporting skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Physical fitness and ability to respond quickly to incidents
• Knowledge of security equipment and procedures
