Job Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team in Holwell, Hitchin. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our premises, ensuring the well-being of staff and visitors, and responding to security incidents in a timely and effective manner.

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol the designated premises and surrounding areas, ensuring security and safety
Control access to the building and verify identification as required
Conduct regular perimeter checks and inspect building equipment for any irregularities
Respond to security breaches, emergencies, and incidents in a calm and professional manner
Monitor and utilize surveillance systems, including CCTV and access control
Provide assistance to staff and visitors with security-related inquiries
Maintain accurate and detailed security logs and reports
Comply with all safety and security regulations and policies
Work closely with law enforcement and other authorities as necessary

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent qualification
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Security Officer in a similar environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong physical fitness and ability to perform strenuous duties
Proficiency in security procedures and operating security equipment
Knowledge of fire safety and emergency response protocols
Clean criminal record and valid SIA license
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
