Security Officer Job Description:

We are searching for a diligent and vigilant individual to join our team as a Security Officer in Horsham. As a Security Officer, you will be instrumental in maintaining the safety and security of our premises, employees, and visitors. Your proactive approach and meticulous attention to detail will be crucial in upholding a secure environment.

Security Officer Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols to deter and identify any unauthorized activity within the premises.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to respond to security threats.
• Respond effectively and swiftly to emergencies, including medical incidents, fire alarms, and security breaches.
• Enforce security protocols and company policies to ensure compliance and uphold safety standards.
• Provide assistance and support to visitors and employees by addressing inquiries and concerns.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary to address security incidents.
• Participate in training programs to enhance security skills and remain updated on industry best practices.

Security Officer Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields preferred but not required.
• Possession of a valid security license or the ability to obtain one.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response procedures is advantageous.
• Valid SIA License, proof of the right to work in the UK, proof of address, and 5 years of employment history.
