Full time Security Officer in Huntlu

Description Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Time Security Officer to join our team at our Huntly, AB54 location. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive security and protection for our premises, personnel, and assets.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas, including interior and exterior premises, to identify and respond to potential security risks
• Perform security checks and inspections of vehicles, bags, and individuals
• Control access to restricted areas and enforce security policies and procedures
• Operate surveillance equipment (e.g., CCTV cameras, access control systems) and report suspicious activities
• Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies, including medical emergencies, fires, and evacuations
• Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as required
• Maintain detailed records of security incidents, patrols, and inspections
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with visitors, employees, and contractors
• Adhere to all applicable health and safety regulations and company security policies

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous work experience as a Security Officer, Police Officer, or Military Police is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge and understanding of security principles and practices
• Excellent physical fitness, including the ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Good communication, interpersonal, and observational skills
• Proficient in the use of surveillance equipment and security systems
• SIA (Security Industry Authority) certification or equivalent is preferred
