EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Security Officer to join our team in Kedington, Haverhill. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises and assets.

Overview

Reporting to the Site Manager, the Full-Time Security Officer will be responsible for:

Patrolling and monitoring the premises, including all buildings, grounds, and access points
Enforcing security protocols, access control, and emergency procedures
Conducting routine inspections and identifying any security vulnerabilities
Monitoring and responding to alarm systems and security breaches
Maintaining CCTV and other security equipment
Interacting with visitors, employees, and contractors in a professional and courteous manner
Providing first aid and CPR in emergency situations
Maintaining accurate records and reporting on security incidents

Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect unauthorized entry, theft, or other security breaches
Monitor CCTV cameras and other security equipment to identify and respond to potential threats
Check and verify identification of visitors, contractors, and employees
Escort visitors and contractors as required
Lock and unlock doors, gates, and other access points according to established protocols
Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the Site Manager immediately
Maintain incident logs and prepare reports as necessary
Participate in security training and drills to stay up-to-date on best practices
Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a Security Officer
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong observation and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions
Basic computer literacy and proficiency in security equipment
