Full-Time Security Officer, Kenmare

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Security Officer to provide round-the-clock protection and surveillance at our premises in Kenmare, Co. Kerry, Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of personnel, assets, and property, while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.

 

Responsibilities

• Monitor and secure the perimeter and building using surveillance cameras and electronic systems
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both internally and externally
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, implementing appropriate security protocols
• Control and authorize access to the premises and manage visitor registration
• Inspect vehicles and packages entering and leaving the site
• Maintain and operate security equipment, including cameras, access control systems, and fire extinguishers
• Report suspicious activity, security breaches, or incidents to the appropriate authorities
• Provide a highly visible deterrent to crime and ensure a safe environment for personnel
• Maintain a detailed log of all security-related incidents and activities
• Comply with all relevant security policies, procedures, and regulations
• Work closely with management and other departments to ensure a comprehensive security plan

 

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a security officer in a similar setting
• Excellent physical fitness and ability to perform extended periods of walking, running, and standing
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Proficient in security procedures, risk assessment, and emergency response
• Certification in CPR and first aid is highly desirable
• Valid driver's license and clean criminal record
