Job Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and reliable Full-Time Security Officer to ensure the safety, security, and well-being of personnel, visitors, and assets at our premises in Kirkcudbright.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the premises and surrounding areas
• Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance equipment to detect any suspicious activities
• Control access to the premises and ensure that only authorized individuals enter
• Respond to alarms, security breaches, and emergencies in a prompt and efficient manner
• Provide assistance to staff, visitors, and other security personnel
• Maintain accurate and detailed security logs and reports
• Stay abreast of security trends and regulations and implement necessary updates
• Conduct regular risk assessments and make recommendations for security enhancements
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and other security organizations as needed

Qualifications

• SIA (Security Industry Authority) license or equivalent certification
• 2+ years of experience as a Security Officer
• Proven ability to operate security devices and systems
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong physical fitness and alertness
• Knowledge of relevant security regulations and laws
• Current First Aid qualification preferred
