Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join their team at a site in Lakenheath, UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment, protecting property, and enforcing company policies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of the premises, both indoors and outdoors, to detect and deter any suspicious activities or individuals
• Monitor and operate security systems, including CCTV cameras and access control points
• Respond promptly to alarms and other emergencies, and take appropriate action
• Report any suspicious activities, incidents, or breaches of company policy to management
• Issue and enforce parking violations and trespass orders
• Maintain accurate logs and records of all security-related activities
• Assist in the enforcement of company rules and regulations, including access to restricted areas
• Provide excellent customer service to visitors, tenants, and other stakeholders
• Follow all company safety protocols and emergency procedures
• Work independently and as part of a team, under the direction of a Security Supervisor
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a security officer role
• Excellent physical condition and the ability to work long hours, including shifts and weekends
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of situational awareness
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of people
• Basic understanding of security principles and procedures
• Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license is preferred
• Experience with CCTV and access control systems is an advantage
