We are seeking a diligent and dedicated Security Officer to join our team in Lancaster. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, employees, and visitors.

Security Officer Key Responsibilities in Lancaster:

• Conduct regular patrols to prevent and identify unauthorized activities within the premises.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems, and respond to security threats.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, including medical incidents, fire alarms, and security breaches.
• Enforce security protocols and company policies to ensure compliance and maintain safety standards.
• Address inquiries and concerns from visitors and employees, and provide assistance and support as needed.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as required to address security incidents.
• Participate in training programs to improve security skills and stay updated on industry best practices.

Security Officer Job Requirements in Lancaster:

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields is preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid security license or be able to obtain one.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Flexible availability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response procedures is advantageous.
• Must have a valid SIA License, proof of the right to work in the UK, proof of address, and 5 years of employment history.
