EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Time Security Officer for its on-site operations in Lawshall, Bury Saint Edmunds, UK. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety, security, and protection of our premises, personnel, and assets.

Overview:

As a Full Time Security Officer, you will be responsible for the following:

Enforcing building security and access control procedures
Conducting routine patrols of the premises and perimeter
Monitoring surveillance systems for suspicious activity
Responding promptly to incidents, emergencies, or alarms
Providing customer service to visitors and staff
Reporting and documenting security incidents
Liaising with local law enforcement as necessary
Maintaining security equipment, such as cameras, alarms, and access control systems
Adhering to all company policies and procedures

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough security inspections of the premises
Enforce access control procedures to ensure the safety of authorized individuals
Respond to alarms and investigate any suspicious activity promptly
Report incidents, observe activity, and identify and apprehend intruders
Ensure the safety and well-being of visitors, staff, and contractors
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
Stay updated with industry best practices and technological advancements
Maintain accurate logs and documentation for security-related incidents and activities

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years' proven experience in a security officer role
Excellent knowledge of security protocols and best practices
Strong observation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
Physically fit and able to perform physical tasks, such as patrolling and responding to incidents
UK Security Industry Authority (SIA) license required or equivalent qualification
Experience with CCTV surveillance systems is desirable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
