Security Officer Job Description in Leeds:

We are looking for a vigilant and competent Security Officer to join our team in Leeds. As a Security Officer, you will play an important role in protecting our facilities, employees, and visitors.

Security Officer Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols to prevent and detect unauthorized activity on properties.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect and respond to potential security threats.
• Respond quickly and effectively to medical emergencies, fire alarms, and security breaches.
• Enforce security practices and company guidelines to ensure compliance and safety standards are met.
• Respond to visitors' and employees' queries and concerns.
• Generate detailed incident reports and keep accurate records of security-related actions.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services to address security concerns.
• Participate in training programmers to improve security skills and stay current with industry best practices.

Security Officer Job Requirements for Leeds:

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or related areas is preferred, but not required.
• Have or be able to obtain a current security license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates good problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Requires physical stamina for long standing or walking.
• Basic first aid and emergency response skills are useful.
• Requirements include valid SIA license, proof of right to work in the UK, proof of address, and 5 years of work experience.
