Overview:

EarnFlex Ltd. seeks an experienced and reliable Security Officer to join its team in Limerick. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safety and security of personnel, assets, and property at our workplace.

 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patrols, monitor security cameras, and respond to alarms and incidents
• Enforce access control policies, screen visitors, and maintain order within designated areas
• Perform risk assessments and develop security plans for specific events and projects
• Liaise with law enforcement and emergency response teams as necessary
• Keep accurate records and documentation of all security-related activities
• Use a variety of security equipment, including radios, body cameras, and surveillance systems
• Comply with all security regulations, policies, and procedures
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging security trends

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent certification preferred
• 2+ years of experience in a related security role
• Knowledge of security equipment, protocols, and industry regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor
• Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
• Physical and mental agility, with the ability to work extended hours
• Possess a valid security guard license or be willing to obtain one
• First-aid and CPR certifications strongly preferred
