Full time Security Officer in Liverpool

Position: Security Officer Location: Liverpool.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Rotating shifts include nights, weekends, and holidays.
 

We are seeking a skilled Security Officer to join our team in Liverpool. As a Security Officer, you will play an important role in protecting our facilities, employees, and visitors.
 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols to prevent and detect unauthorised activity on properties.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect and respond to potential security threats.
• Respond quickly and effectively to medical emergencies, fire alarms, and security breaches.
• Enforce security procedures and company policies to ensure compliance and safety requirements.
• Respond to visitors and employees' queries and concerns.
• Generate complete incident reports and keep accurate records of security-related activities.
· Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed to address security concerns.
• Attend training programmes to improve security skills and stay current on industry best practices.
 

Job Requirements:

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or related areas is preferred, but not required.
• Possession of an active security licence or the ability to get one.
• Superior communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrates the ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems effectively.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical stamina, including the capacity to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
• Basic first aid and emergency response skills are useful.
• A valid SIA licence, proof of right to work in the UK, proof of address, and five years of work experience.
