Full time Security Officer in Liverpool

Based on-site at L2 2LZ, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining order, protecting assets, and safeguarding employees, visitors, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to premises through physical and electronic surveillance systems
• Conduct routine patrols on foot and in vehicles, inspecting facilities, equipment, and surroundings
• Respond promptly to security breaches, alarms, and emergency situations, taking appropriate action
• Investigate and report on incidents, suspicious activities, or potential hazards
• Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors as needed, maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor
• Monitor closed-circuit television cameras (CCTV), recording any irregularities or breaches of security
• Assist in the management and control of traffic flow, parking violations, and unauthorized use of company vehicles
• Follow established security protocols, emergency procedures, and workplace policies
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation of security-related incidents and activities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required
• At least two years of experience in a security role with similar responsibilities
• Valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) license is mandatory
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong physical health and stamina to conduct routine patrols and respond to emergency situations
• Proficiency in the use of security equipment and technology
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and emergency procedures
• Customer service-oriented with a focus on delivering a positive experience
