Full-Time Security Officer | Ilkley

Description:

EarnFlex Ltd. seeks a highly motivated Full-Time Security Officer to join our team in Ilkley. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and assets.

Overview:

Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter crime and ensure the safety of individuals
Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and other safety devices
Respond promptly to emergencies including fire, theft, or medical incidents
Enforce security regulations and procedures, such as access control and visitor management
Report suspicious activities, incidents, and breaches of policy
Maintain accurate logs and documentation of all security-related activities
Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and colleagues

Responsibilities:

Patrol assigned areas, including parking lots, building perimeters, and common areas
Operate security gates, check identification, and enforce access protocols
Monitor surveillance equipment and respond appropriately to suspicious activities
Conduct security assessments and identify potential risks to safety and security
Train and supervise junior security personnel as required
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
Prepare incident reports, security briefings, and other security-related documentation
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a security role is essential, preferably in a corporate or commercial environment
Excellent physical fitness and ability to respond to physical threats as needed
Strong observation and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
Proficient in the use of CCTV systems and other security technologies
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
First Aid certification preferred
Valid SIA license (or willingness to obtain)
GCSEs in English and Mathematics or equivalent qualifications
