Responsibilities

• Monitor and secure the premises, including entrances, exits, and perimeter areas
• Enforce security regulations, policies, and procedures
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activities
• Patrol the premises regularly to deter crime and ensure the well-being of staff and visitors
• Control access to restricted areas, verify identification, and maintain records
• Conduct regular safety checks and report any hazards or concerns
• Assist in investigations and provide evidence as necessary
• Maintain a detailed and accurate log of all security-related incidents and activities
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required

Qualifications

• SIA (Security Industry Authority) certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar security role
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
• Strong attention to detail, observation skills, and situational awareness
• Physical fitness to perform extended periods of standing, walking, and patrolling
• Proficient in using security equipment, such as CCTV systems, access control systems, and radios
• First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
