Shifts: 12 hours per day, then four-on, four-off shift pattern.  

Job Description:

We are looking for a vigilant and dedicated individual to join our team as a Security Officer at Mars Melton. As a Security Officer, you will play an importent role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and staff. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the protection of our premises and assets while upholding the safety and well-being of all individuals within our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect any suspicious activity.
2. Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security threats.
3. Respond promptly to emergencies, including medical incidents, fire alarms, and security breaches, and take appropriate action.
4. Enforce security protocols and company policies to ensure compliance and uphold safety standards.
5. Provide assistance and support to visitors and employees as needed, including answering inquiries and addressing concerns.
6. Prepare comprehensive incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities.
7. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary to ensure a coordinated response to security incidents.
8. Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance security skills and stay updated on industry best practices.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred but not required.
2. Possession of a valid security license or the willingness to obtain one.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
7. Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
8. Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response procedures is an advantage.
