Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Security Officer to join our team at EarnFlex Ltd. in Melrose. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding the premises, assets, and personnel on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the premises through gates, doors, and other entry points
• Conduct security checks of authorized individuals and vehicles
• Patrol the premises regularly to detect any suspicious activities or anomalies
• Respond promptly to emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches
• Conduct investigations and gather evidence
• Report incidents and prepare reports as necessary
• Maintain a safe and secure environment by enforcing company policies and procedures
• Assist with crowd control and special events
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Security Officer in a similar environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Knowledge of security procedures and best practices
• Experience with CCTV surveillance systems preferred
• Basic computer literacy
