EarnFlex Ltd. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our esteemed team in New York City. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our employees, visitors, and property.

 

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and prevent unauthorized entry, theft, or other security breaches
• Enforce company security policies and procedures, including access control, visitor management, and surveillance
• Conduct routine security checks, including ID verification, bag searches, and perimeter inspections
• Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies
• Assist with crowd control and traffic management during events or unexpected situations
• Maintain accurate security logs and reports
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and other security personnel as necessary
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and security advancements

 

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience as a Security Officer in a similar setting
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Proficient in the use of security equipment, including CCTV cameras, door access systems, and two-way radios
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to perform security duties for extended periods
• Valid security guard license required by the state of New York
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
